Yeast Infections and Menstrual Periods

Here is a nice Q&A Powered by Yahoo Answers
Can a Yeast Infection throw off your Menstrual Cycle?

Best Answer - Chosen by Voters
Not really. The yeast itself shouldn't interfere. The "being sick" part could. If you've been stressed or anything over it, it may delay your period. Stressor have a way of doing that, and illness is definitely a stressor!

Believe it or not, your period is actually good for your yeast infection. Yeast are more active during your period, and are more open to treatment. Most women who have yeast infections around their periods find that they clear up by the end of it.

Hope this helps, and best of luck to you!
